Thank you for participating in the Strong As Stone recognition program! Please complete the following form. If you require assistance, please contact our Communications team.

Who can be nominated?

A St. Marys resident of any age, for recent acts of service;
A resident of a surrounding community, provided their acts of service benefit St. Marys
You cannot nominate yourself;
You cannot nominate an elected politician;
You cannot nominate someone for achievements related to a current public appointment (committee of council).

Nominees must meet at least one of the following criteria, occuring from March 2020 to present:

Their unpaid volunteer contributions provide extraordinary help to families or groups in St. Marys;
They continually volunteer their time, talent and energy without pay to improve the quality of life in St. Marys;
They have been voluntarily involved in a program or project that has had a lasting benefit for St. Marys and its residents.

Once your submission is received, it will be reviewed by an internal committee. You and your nominee will be notified when your nomination will be presented at Town Council. Meetings are currently live-streamed on the Town of St. Marys YouTube page.

The recipient's good deeds will be presented on social media as well as in the Town of St. Marys Crier ad appearing weekly in the St. Marys Independent, and the recipient will be presented with a certificate keepsake.
