Aquatics Centre currently closed for renovations

The Aquatics Centre has been closed to the public since November 2024, to accommodate renovations to the space that would address safety concerns caused by saltwater and high humidity. These renovations were deemed essential to ensure the facility could be used safely and effectively by the community. Due to unexpected recently discovered structural issues caused by saltwater and high humidity stemming from insufficiently sized HVAC equipment installed during the original construction, the renovation work is now expected to extend closure until fall 2025. 

Project updates and a reopening date, once confirmed, will be provided through local media, the Town website (www.townofstmarys.com), Facebook (www.facebook.com/stmarysontario) and Twitter/X (www.twitter.com/townofstmarys).

Short-Term Downtown Parking Lot Permit

Short-term parking permits are available for certain lots for individuals who are visiting St. Marys and do not have access to overnight parking. The permits are issued daily for a maximum of seven (7) days.

Complete the online form to apply for a short-term parking permit. 

The cost of the parking permit is $10.00 + HST per day for a maximum of 7 days.

If you have any questions related to this form, please contact Clerks Office at 519-284-2340 x241 or clerksoffice@town.stmarys.on.ca. Upon completion of this form and payment, an automated email will be sent to the permit holder outlining the approval details.
