Submit 3D Print

Use this form to send Library staff your 3D print file.

  • You must have a St. Marys Public Library card to submit a file for printing
  • Submit your STL or obj file
  • We recommended you measure your design in millimeters
  • Staff will review the file with you and provide a total cost before printing
  • Cost is 10¢ per gram of plastic
  • Once your object is completed, we will contact you to pick it up
  • Objects will be held for 7 days for pick up

We recommend Thingiverse for finding and saving print files.

We will contact you before we print your file to confirm size, cost and colour of the print. Please watch your preferred communication method and provide your confirmation ASAP so we can begin your print.

  • I accept full responsibility for the equipment and furniture in the maker space during my session. 
  • As the user of the maker space equipment, I understand that I am responsible for the cost of all materials consumed, and will make every effort to prevent materials being wasted. 
  • As the primary user, I will remain in the room at all times during my session. 
  • I understand that if I fail to return equipment at the end of my session, overdue fees will apply and my checkout privileges will be suspended until items are returned. 
  • I understand that I am responsible for the cost of repairs, replacements or cleaning if the any equipment is missing or damaged. 
  • I understand that replacement charges or large overdue fines will result in my library privileges being suspended until the library is reimbursed. 
  • I understand that the maker space computer is reserved for digital media projects and is not available for general computer use – i.e. email, social media, browsing etc. 
  • I understand that the maker space may be used for lawful purposes only and cannot be used to create content that is:
    • Prohibited by provincial or federal law.
    • Unsafe, harmful, dangerous or poses an immediate threat to the wellbeing of others.
    • Obscene or otherwise inappropriate for the Library environment.
    • In violation of another's intellectual property rights.
