Green Intiatives Awareness Program Submission Form (2023)
Program Details
The Green Initiatives Awareness Program was developed by the Town of St. Marys' Green Advisory Committee to highlight our community’s efforts to combat climate change.
Each year, we put out a call for submissions from a specific group, based on a specific theme. That group is asked to share details about an initiative they have undertaken to promote sustainability.
We review the submissions, choose the ones that best fit our criteria, and then share them through our communications channels. In doing so, we hope to inspire others to join the fight to protect our planet.
Elibigle Submissions
We are currently accepting submissions from St. Marys-based businesses who are considered to be a "Light Industrial" or "Industrial" business.
Examples of eligible businesses include:
- Automobile-related businesses (including dealership, mechanics, etc.)
- Contractors
- Food processing, manufacturing, and assembly plants
For more information on eligible businesses, please see the Town's Zoning By-law, Z1-1997, as amended.
Section 19 - Light Industrial Zone (M1)
Section 20 - General Industrial Zone (M2)
The Town of St. Marys Green Advisory Commitee would like to know how eligible busnesses have changed their on-site processes to reduce or mitigate their greenhouse gas emissions and/or waste.
