The Friends of the St. Marys Museum offers ways to help with this work! Be a Friend!

• The Friends of the Museum is a group that works to support the St. Marys Museum and promote its activities in the community. There are quarterly meetings to discuss activities and new ideas.
• An Annual General Meeting is held each year in March. All members receive notice of this meeting and are entitled to propose motions and to vote. Directors are elected at the AGM and an executive is formed from the directors.
• The Friends group sponsors fundraising activities such as the Museum’s gift shop and various special events.
• All funds raised are used to support the activities of the St. Marys Museum. At the AGM, a summary will be given of the Friends’ work in the previous year.
• Friends Members also receive quarterly newsletters, event reminders, discounted admisisons to seminars and volunteer opportunities
• The Friends of the St. Marys Museum is an incorporated organization and is recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable foundation. The Treasurer can issue tax receipts for donations to the Friends group.

Annual fees: $15.00
Additional donations are gratefully accepted and receipts will be provided.
